  • Organizes and manages bibliographic research and the inputting of records into CIHM's in-house database
  • Supervises contract employees conducting bibliographic research across Canada, as well as students working part-time in the Ottawa office
  • Selects items to be digitized for CIHM's Early Canadiana Online collection (www.canadiana.org), based on guidelines established by CIHM's Government Documents Advisory Committee
  • Original cataloguing of monographs, serials and government publications using AACR2, LC Subject Headings, Canadian Subject Headings, Répertoires des vedettes-matières and Dewey Decimal Classification
  • Liaises with libraries across Canada to arrange for the borrowing of books to be filmed and scanned
