Acted as Canadian directory and genealogy resource person by assisting genealogical, historical and other researchers and National Library staff members with genealogical questions, by offering advice on collection development in this area, by assisting in the formulation of reference policy relating to genealogy, by marketing the National Library’s genealogical collections and services and training other staff members in the provision of genealogical reference service.

Advised National Library staff members, researchers and other librarians and bibliographers in the creation of bibliographies using various styles and specialized software packages.

(1989-1996) Compiled and edited Canadian reference sources : an annotated bibliography. Included project planning, subject research, creation of bibliographic citations and detailed descriptive annotations, supervision of a contract librarian and two clericals, creation of an online database using Inmagic software, participation in the publisher selection process and collaboration with the publisher in final stages of proofreading, editing and design.
